Special Other: This Campaign focus alot on hero-based combats, storytelling, visual details, solving puzzles, custom made heroes and varied gameplay. Also introducing new race, Swamp Elves. Inspired by various movies, HOMMIV campaigns and many other games. Among others: HOMMIII, Sid Meiers Pirates, Monty Python and the Holy Grail and puzzle games. This campaign should offer challenging fights/Victory Conditions matching the chosen difficulty as well as new ways to play HoMM IV..

All files in the data folder must be copied into the Data folder, 3DO\HeroesofMightandMagicIV\Data to get optimal benefit from this campaign. Keep a copy of the folder's original new_mod.h4r file to keep the original portraits.

Description:   Ever wondered what happened to Gauldoth Half-Dead, in the time after he killed his former master, Kalibarr? Currious as to why Baron Von Tarkin was so eager to conquer Channon's capital, Rylos? Then take part in this epic adventure that spans over no less than 15 maps, with lots of references to movies, series ect., and with plenty of humorous touches. This campaign will reveal more background story, and continue the stories beyond the official campaigns of the above mentioned heroes, as well as draw strings to many of the other official Re-explore the world of Axeoth and learn how things are tied together, as this campaign tells the story of young Mudgeon. A young man who's about to be apprenticed to a wizard. Perhaps not an exciting plot, but one day his life is changed abruptly, when his family and he himself becomes enmeshed in a tangle of plots, treachery and evil plans to destroy all things living. 
In a race against time, Mudgeon's trying to find his family, solve mysteries and fight evil. Eventually he realizes that he is just a small piece of a puzzle with more than a 1,000 pieces. The destiny of the whole world, does not lie on his shoulders, but with the help of his faithful followers, they assume their responsibility for making the world a safer place... For their own sake, of course.

With hectic car chases made on horseback, breathtaking sword fights, magical duels and convincingly good acting, one can not help but empathize with the story. The whole thing is supported by plenty of impressive special effects.
A pure rollercoaster ride. As a player you become pushed down in the office chair and glued to the screen. Lots of tension, small incident, varied goals / missions, and multiple choice options, prevents this campaign from ever being boring.

Map 1 v.1.2:
- Witch's Hut will now check if Army has Tome of Nature (was blue player). Added info that artifact won't carry over.
- Changed Campaign Description (general).
- Changes to Intro. Better description of Mudgeon's Conscience Skill and the fact that many artifacts/power ups etc. are well hidden, but with purpose.
- Added info to win conditions, that resources required to build Fort and Citadel don't count in the total amount of gold required.

Map 2 v.1.1:
- Added 2 x Equistrian's Gloves and Scroll of Endurance to speed things up - Gloves disabled as artifact.
- A number of White Tigers can now be saved from Trolls.
- Removed Tiger Den change script. Will continiously increase growt in Tiger Den.
- Map difficulty increase to Advanced (was normal).
- Added Victorious script bonus - (weapon preserving tools). Text added about weapon preserving tools not being given as actual artifacts.
- Tiger Quest will now open when Red (Troll's) is eliminated. (No longer need to visit the Ent first).
- The shortcut between the Heart of the Forest and the unicorn will now open, once passing through the purple portal.
- New shortcut has been added, for when it's time to return home. (Missing child added aswell). Info about short cut (go home) added.
- Lowered numbers of creatures in first white tiger stack on Novice.
- Added carryover info about bonus choice.
- Fixed bug with difficulty setting changing on day 2.
- Blocked (63,44). Player could acccess the Trolls.
- Info about short cut (go home) added.
- On Champion, Mudgeon will regenerate 1 extra spellpoint each day if Attack or Defence is chosen.
- All quests now checks for Mudgeon's presence.
- Moved carryover hero to undeground. Would show at completion.
- Tree at goblins/unicorn will now burst in flames.
- Charles Einer now checks for gold amount when paying for fish caught. Takes a lien on spell points if not enough gold.
- Bringing any of the rescued Tiger cubs into battle, will trigger a moral penalty. Tigers can be brought to battle after Tiger quest has been completed.
- Added text to Ent about rescuing Tiger Cubs. Added rescued script/number of cubs alive scripts.
- Added script that'll give back spellpoint when paying debt for fish.
- Cost of purchasing a new fishing line lowered to 50 gold (was 100).
- Changed the timer of when tiger cubs starts getting eaten. Is now linked to Quest start and certain days (if quest is started).
- Added info that a total of 16 tiger cubs can be saved.
- Changed weapon bonus script, so that player can start the choices over again or choose randomly.
- Lowered numbers of Unicorns, Satyrs and Sprites in stack at 50,20 by 25-33% to help lower difficulties (Novice/Intermediate) achieve tiger cubs bonus.
- Various Tiger Cub bonus and texts added.
- Blocked path beyond Troll hunting quest untill quest started.
- Moved purple songbird to hint troll location and added text to quest to listen for the birds.
- Changed conditions for trolls encounter text, were set wrong. Encounter now hints if cubs has been eaten by troll stack.
- 3rd troll will now eat a tiger each day. 4th troll will eat a tiger 2 days after the first they eat.
- Added carryover variables to check for Artifact bonuses and tiger cub bonus/penalty.
- Trolls now start to eat cubs based on difficulty. Novice/Intermediate get +1 day for the first troll compared to higher difficulties.
- Fixed weapon bonus issue on Intermediate. Script didn't decrease stats.
- Put & Take script, lacked payment for catching 5 fish. Fixed.
- Added carryover variable to check if player got Four Leaf Clover as a comfort bonus.
- Added counter for total amount of tigers lost, also fixed issue that counter would bug if facing neutrals with tigers.
- Mana Potion added to 3rd stack of Troll if Mana bonus chosen and all 9 cubs saved so far.
- Changed Combat skill to Defense skill if Defense Option is chosen. Would collide with variable in map 4.
- Changed Trolde/Tiger Quest scripts, so that player will only rechieve Bad Conscience if Mudgeon agrees. Would trigger anyway.
- Changed Basic Nature (Tiger Scroll variable) to Basic Seamanship (6 diff. skill were possible).
- Elver script luck bonus moved to Triggered script on Mudgeon. Would dissapear after battle, thus not carry over.
- Lowered Att/Def. decrease on Expert from -2 to -1,5 for each battle won. Change was made for bigger difference between Advanced and Champion.

Map 4 v.1.1:
- Placed Wolves and Agraynel on adventure map in relation to Wolf Ambush event. Added info about how to get best Wolf attack visual effect.
- Way out of Farmerville blocked as in v0.97, untill Farmerville quest is accepted.
- Cemetery event now takes away a few current spell points.
- If the Alchemist Quest wasn't completed, Orange wasn't eleminated. Fixed issue.
- Changed Wolf Ambush set-up.
- Added check for additional Moral bonus.
- Added check/give script for Summon White Tiger Scroll carried over.

Map 5 v.1.1:
- Slightly increased numbers of creatures in teal garrison on Novice.
- Lowered number of starting creatures on Orange heroes.
- Blocked some neutral towns for the first month on Novice/Intermediate.
- Cerberi/Zombies at 72,107 is set to max creatures 42/78 on Novice.
- Imps/Cerberi at 92, 131 is set to max creatues 271/35 on Novice.
- Set a max to numbers of Spawns Green Player can have for the first 4 months on Novice.
- Changed carryover Mudgeon to purple (was neutral - didn't carryover to map 6).
- Dying Tree of Knowledge now check for minimum required resources.
- Added text to BlackHole event.
- Fixed spellingmistake in Tree of Knowledge text (Wil -> Will)
- Removed 2nd script box in Teal_check (Trakash). Could cause issues.


h4util was used to create the re-diplomizing script in map 5.
Face Tool - Hero Face Editor was used to make various portraits.
